Powered by Ajax is the Town’s new business registration initiative, designed to strengthen connections with local businesses and build a clearer, more accurate understanding of Ajax’s growing and diverse economy.
For a one-time registration fee of $25, the program is open to all businesses operating in Ajax, from home-based entrepreneurs and emerging startups to established storefronts and industrial operations. Powered by Ajax offers meaningful benefits at every stage of business.

No. Registration is voluntary but strongly encouraged as it enables the Town of Ajax to conduct more effective economic planning to service our community.
All businesses operating in Ajax, including home-based, retail, service, industrial, and online businesses, are encouraged to register.

Registration is valid for the lifetime of your business. Annual reminders will be sent to keep your profile up to date.
Payments are reviewed and verified within 5–10 business days.

For a limited time, every Ajax business that participates in the Town’s 2026 Spring Clean-Up Challenge will receive a FREE Powered by Ajax premium membership (valued at $25), unlocking exclusive business perks and recognition.

How to participate
Businesses interested in organizing a clean-up can email operations@ajax.ca or call 905-683-2951 to request a free community clean-up kit.
When you reach out, please include:
- Number of participants
- Preferred clean-up location(s)
Clean-up kits include gloves and garbage bags for your team. As a bonus, the Town will arrange garbage collection after your clean-up event.
Businesses can take part anytime up to June 30, 2026.
