This month, Town of Ajax Fitness & Health members who refer a new annual membership will be entered into a draw for a $2,500 travel voucher and other great prizes! Referred new memberships must be purchased between November 1 and 30, 2026. Multiple entries will be accepted. Earn a free Town of Ajax gym bag with every referral.

Official Contest Rules & Regulations

Eligibility

This promotion if open to current Town of Ajax fitness members, over the age of 18 years, with the exception of elected officials and employees of The Town of Ajax, and any of the sponsoring companies or affiliated companies. This includes their immediate families, cohabitants, agents or contractors. The Town of Ajax reserves the right to require proof of identity and/or eligibility, in a form satisfactory to it, to verify the eligibility of an entrant. Failure to provide proof of eligibility to the satisfaction of The Town of Ajax may result in the disqualification of the entrant, at the sole discretion of The Town of Ajax. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Town of Ajax reserves the right to cancel or suspend the contest or modify these rules at its discretion. Decisions of The Town of Ajax will be final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal. Purchase is necessary. The members Vacation promotion, contest, giveaway or sweepstake shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. By entering and/or accepting a prize, the entrants agree to irrevocably attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.

Contest details

  • Purchase is required.
  • The contest is open to all Town of Ajax current members 18 years and older.
  • The contest begins at 7 a.m. EST November 1, 2026 and ends at 10:30 p.m. EST on November 30, 2026.
  • There are a total of three (3) prizes to be won.
  • Prize draws will be conducted on December 9, 2026 and will begin with the third-place prize, followed by the second-place prize and then the Grand Prize as the final draw.
  • The third prize is two (2) free personal training sessions to be conducted at one of the community centres.
  • The second prize is an Annual Adult Combo membership.
  • The Grand Prize is a $2,500 travel voucher to be redeemed at Progress Travel in Ajax.
  • All prizes must be redeemed by October 31, 2027.
  • Prizes do not have any cash value and are to be received as presented.
  • Submissions are eligible for more than one prize.
  • Winning entrant will be required to sign a photo/video release permitting the Town of Ajax to use photographs and/or video during the prize presentation.

Entries

Purchase necessary. Entrant names will be submitted upon the referral and purchase of a new annual membership. Each entrant will receive four ballots towards the draws. Use of any automated system to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Publication

The selected draw prize names and/or photographs may be published across The Town of Ajax’s social media channels and other marketing publications. The Town of Ajax reserves the non-exclusive right to publish any entry and/or use any entry in promotional and advertising materials. The Town of Ajax reserves the right to request promotional rights from the entrant for the purposes of additional marketing.

The odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by phone on December 9, 2026. Winners will be announced by December 11, 2026.

Prize must be claimed by December 18, 2026, 12 p.m. EST and redeemed before October 31, 2027, 11:59 p.m. EST.

If a selected entrant: (i) cannot be contacted within five (5) business days, (ii) fails to provide proof of eligibility satisfactory to The Town of Ajax upon request and in the sole discretion of The Town of Ajax, and/or (iii) fails to claim the prize by the deadline noted above, the selected entrant will be disqualified and the prize will be forfeited. The Town of Ajax reserves the right to select an alternate entrant from the remaining eligible entries. The prize must be accepted “as is” and The Town of Ajax reserves the right to substitute the prize.

Responsibility

The Town of Ajax, all of its successor corporations and entities and their respective past, present and future elected and appointed officials, officers, representatives, employees, servants, agents, and their respective successors, assigns, heirs and administrators shall not be held responsible for any injuries, loss or damages of any kind, direct or indirect, with respect to or arising in any way from the contest.

By entering the contest, each entrant consents to The Town of Ajax collecting, using and disclosing the personal information submitted with the entry for the purposes of administering the contest and notifying selected entrant(s) and winner(s) in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M.56, as amended.

Copyright Notice

With regard to any photograph(s) or video submitted to a contest promotion, the entrant, or the owner of copyright in the photograph or video, retains copyright. By submitting any photograph or video to a contest promotion, the entrant grants (or warrants that the owner of such materials expressly grants) The Town of Ajax a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, reproduce, and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, for any purpose, including, but not limited to advertising and promotional materials including its social media platforms and website, exhibition, and commercial products, including but not limited to The Town of Ajax publications. The Town of Ajax will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses. Winning entrants are required to sign a release containing the above conditions.
