The Town is excited to officially welcome Town Brewery to the Ajax waterfront! Town Brewery’s Paradise Beach Bar opened to the public this past weekend on July 3.
Open seven days a week, Paradise Beach Bar will bring summer energy to the community, offering a welcoming outdoor space for residents and visitors to gather, connect and enjoy the waterfront. Guests can look forward to a curated selection of local craft beverages, complemented by delicious food from Speak Easy Street Food and a relaxed, social atmosphere.
Designed with inclusivity in mind, the summer pop-up will also feature a variety of family-friendly, non-alcoholic options, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Conveniently located along the waterfront trail, Paradise Beach Bar is easily accessible by foot, bicycle or other forms of active transportation, making it a natural stop for those exploring Ajax’s scenic shoreline. Its proximity to nearby park and waterfront spaces makes it an ideal destination for a full day of outdoor recreation and relaxation.

- Paradise Beach Bar is open Monday through Friday from 12 – 9 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- This summer beer garden pop-up is part of a pilot program.
- Ajax Council directed staff to explore pilot projects involving alcohol service in public spaces. Following a Town-led selection process, Town Brewery was chosen as the private operator.
- The pop-up is located at the Ajax Waterfront near Paradise Park (2997 Lakeview Boulevard).
- Food and beverage service is within a clearly defined area of the park and alcohol consumption is only permitted within the clearly designated licensed area.
- The pop-up is family-friendly and is designed to be welcoming and accessible to all, with food options and non-alcoholic beverages available.
- Additional portable washrooms and handwashing stations are installed to support the increased use of the park, and the operator (Town Brewery) is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, including providing waste bins, regular cleanup and litter patrols.
- Parking is limited. Visitors can use existing parking lots and nearby street parking, in accordance with the Town’s seasonal parking program.
