Join us on July 1, 2026 at the NEW Ajax Fairgrounds (1955 Audley Rd. N) for Canada Day presented by MoveBuddy!

From 2-10 p.m., enjoy a variety of activities including cultural performances, children’s games and activities, interactive experiences, live entertainment, community booths & marketplace, sensory zone, food vendors, beer vendors and a special fireworks finale at 10 p.m. See below for more details. This is a completely car-free event with no on-site parking. Limited accessibility parking is available at Audley Recreation Centre on a first-come, first-served basis. Accessible parking pass must be presented at the entrance. Visit the accordion below for more details.

Shuttle Information:

This is a completely car-free event with no on-site parking. Limited accessibility parking is available at Audley Recreation Centre on a first-come, first-served basis. Accessible parking pass must be presented at the entrance.

Take the shuttle from one of four convenient locations:

Ajax Town Hall (65 Harwood Ave. S.)
GO Parking off of O’Brien Court
J Clarke Richardson (1355 Harwood Ave N, Ajax, ON L1T 4G8)
McLean Community Centre (95 Magill Dr, Ajax, ON L1T 4M5)

First shuttle pick-up is 1:45 p.m. and the last shuttle will leave Audley Recreation Centre at 10:45 p.m. Shuttles will run every 20 minutes (approximately) and may vary due to unexpected circumstances, traffic and weather. Accessible busses are available upon request to any one of the locations listed above. Please speak with any bus driver to request.

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at all shuttle locations. If the lot is full when you arrive, please proceed to one of our other convenient shuttle locations.

Road Closures:

Please note the following Road Closures will be in effect from 1 – 11 p.m.

Southbound on Audley Rd. and Williamson – No through traffic will be permitted southbound on Audley. Detour will be available by turning on Williamson.
Northbound on Audley Rd. and Rossland – No through traffic will be permitted northbound on Audley Rd. Detour will be available by traveling down Lakeridge to Taunton

All residents who live in subdivisions off Audley Rd. between Williamson and Rossland, are kindly asked to enter through alternative streets (off Rossland or Williamson).

Sensory Zone:

The Sensory Zone is a designated space where others and their individual needs are respected.

We ask all Sensory Zone patrons to respect the following:

Be mindful of loud and sudden noises
Know that all activities require parent/guardian supervision and
Know patrons of all ages are allowed to play and enjoy the activities offered

This space will be equipped with sensory-focused activities including a colouring station, inflatables and games, sensory equipment, a sheltered area, a changing station and a seating area.

Noise cancelling headphones will be available for rent on site.
