In recognition of International Day of the Girl, the Town of Ajax is celebrating girls and women in sport through Elevate Girls community activations. These activations encourage conversations about inclusion, belonging, and creating more opportunities for females to participate, succeed, and thrive in sport.
Visit the lobby of the Ajax Community Centre, Audley Recreation Centre, or McLean Community Centre on Saturday, October 10, 2026 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to learn more about Elevate Girls and enter for a chance to win one of four Elevate Girls Sport Prize Packs. Visit ajax.ca/ElevateGirls for contest details.
Throughout the week, on Elevate Girls and on Town of Ajax social media channels, we will also be sharing videos showcasing the diverse perspectives of local females in sport. Be sure to follow along and celebrate with us!
