Nominees may be an individual, group, or business. Nominees must live, own a business, or go to school in the Town of Ajax and must have demonstrated volunteer commitment within Ajax. Former Ajax residents are eligible for Ajax Civic Awards only. Nominees must agree to the nomination.
Current members of a Town of Ajax Advisory Committee to Council are eligible for nomination with the exception of Advisory Committee Members who are on the Ajax Community Awards Selection Committee. Nominees cannot be a current member of Ajax Council or an employee of the Town of Ajax.
Candidates may be nominated annually for a select category; however, once a candidate has won in a particular category, they cannot be nominated for it in the future.
Posthumous nominations will only be considered for volunteer work completed within the year of the application form.
Deadline for Nominations: Friday, October 2, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted
