Event
The Age-Friendly Ajax Living Library event is scheduled for:
Thursday, April 29, 2027
1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Audley Recreation Centre, 1955 Audley Rd. N., Ajax
Applicants will be required to commit to at least one of the event times listed above. Availability for both event times is preferred.
Screening Process
Selected applicants will be asked to participate in a secondary screening phone interview. Alternative interview formats are available and can be arranged with the event coordinator.
Living Book Orientation Process
If selected, all Living Book volunteers will be required to attend an orientation workshop 2 to 3 weeks prior to the event.
Promotional Media
If selected, all Living Book volunteers will film a short promotional video that will be posted to the Town of Ajax website and social media channels.
Honorarium
Living Book volunteers will receive an honorarium for their participation in this project.
Other
Living Book volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the Age-Friendly Ajax Living Library.
