2027 Living Library Application Form

Before completing the application, please ensure you can meet the following:

A. The Age-Friendly Ajax Living Library event is scheduled for:

Saturday, April 18, 2026
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Audley Recreation Centre, 1955 Audley Rd. N., Ajax

Living Book volunteers will be required to participate in the full event.

B. Selected applications will be asked to participate in a secondary screening phone interview. Alternate interview formats are available and can be arranged with the project coordinator

C. If selected, all Living Book volunteers will be required to attend an orientation workshop two to three weeks prior to the event.

D. If selected, all Living Book volunteers will film a short promotional video that will be posted on the Town of Ajax website and social media channels.

E. Living Book volunteers will receive an honorarium for their participation in this project.

F. Living Book volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the Age-Friendly Ajax Living Library.
